Overview

Pulse technology

Electromagnetic acceleration of objects and particles. The first highly efficient concept for acceleration was the discovery of electromagnetic pulsation, which is the base of several developments they achieved: Weapons, vehicle engines, air- and spacecraft drives, and others.

Plasma technology

The invention of superheated particles and later the invention and successful development of (hot fusion) plasma reactors (which are capable of producing greater output energy then was directed to them) was the key to solve the energy limitations of the race.

Used in all aspects of life, supplying energy to cities from power plants, for ships from on board reactors, and for colonies from reactor plants.

Plasma technology is also used in many different aspects of industry and manufacturing, in the form of plasma-cutters, plasma based metallurgy, and so on.

The concept was also the base of several advancements of the Imperium: Ship drives and naval weapons (which were implemented by League and independent researchers as well) and personal weapons (which were uniue designs only mastered by the scientists of the Imperium).

Displacement drive

A drive used for interstellar travel, capable of influencing space by forcing everything within a radius around it to be displaced ('pushed') onto an other location in space. The travel is instant (consumes no time). The ships simply disappear from their starting point and in the exact same time reappear at their destination.

Trynprothron technology

Anti-nuclear technology based on the nuclear reaction of Trynprothron atoms. Scientists were unable to succeed in creating power producing reactors yet. Although the creation of Trynprothon Devices (anti-nuclear bombs) was a success (as a side-result of reactor research).

The devastation compared to a regular nuclear detonation is cumulated as anti-particles instantly eliminate all counter-particles on contact. (The radiation produced by the detonation degenerates the structure of every molecule-structure it makes contact with by eliminating their sub-particles.) Wider range, extreme devastation, complete elimination of molecules and a ray of anti-particles create hundreds of times the effects of an equivalent type nuclear detonation, however leave no radiation poison after the explosion. Clean, yet several times effective then conventional nuclear technology.

Holographic and VR technology

Holoprojection became an everyday technology for the Numidar race during the past decades, while the recently developed virtual reality system (using direct connection to the brain) is a fairly new technology, however it is spreading rapidly and is expected to be a standard in a few years.

Organic technologies

The Numidar race has reached a high level of knowledge and technology in the field of organic science: Genetic engineering, DNA manipulation, biological construction and reconstruction (along with the non-organic technologies) grant the race superiority over nature and diseases, and grants difficultyless infinite life.

Important items

Biocheck

Manual biotest. A hand-held equipment used by Numidar doctors to check the biological status of their patients. (Technically it is a hand held bioscanner.)

Holosphere

A common Numidarian entertainment device. A holoprojector that creates a sphere image around the user.

Canisters and cartridges

Storage units for ammunition and/or power to reload or recharge weapons and other devices.

Dose related

· Dose injector

A medical tool to inject doses into patients.

· Booster

A special drug for Numidar soldiers that grants the user increased strength and agility while under its effect. If not overused it has no negative effects on the user.

· Venom-absorber

Counters the effects of venom. Each amount is circulating in the metabolic system of the Numidar person. Each amount dissipates an amount of venom (both the venom and venom-absorber amount is eliminated in the process).

· Radiation-preventor

Eliminates or reduces the effects of radiation, granting temporary radiation resistance for the user.

· Nerval venom

Attacks the nerval system of the injected Numidar person and delivers a devastating instant effect.

· Reconstructor

Uses genetically engineered bacterias that reconstruct the body of the Numidar target. (Ineffective in case of other beings.)

Important equipment

Medical scanner

To scan the sub-molecular structure of biological organisms. (The result of the scanning process is 100% accurate!)

Healing chamber

It uses genetically engineered bacterias and healing chemicals to reconstruct the cells of Numidar subjects.

Repair unit

It can repair any item, weapon, suit or armor even if are critically damaged.

Central computer

Controls and oversees other equipment and the installation.

Consoles and terminals

To control the various equipment.

Long range missile system

It can fire two types of missiles (each carries a related type torpedo as a warhead).

· Plasma torpedoes can eliminate hostile smallcrafts with a single hit and in larger numbers can eliminate ships as well.

· Emergency message torpedoes carry an emergency message to the nearest Numidar planet or space station, using a small size Displacement drive.

Auxiliary generator

If the main power source is disabled, cut off from the installation or is destroyed the auxiliary power generator can support the installation with power for a short amount of time.

Communication array

Used to transmit and receive directed communication of faster then light waves.

Backup communication array

A wide-radius version communication array. It can not be recalibrated. It can only send wide radius transmissions which arrive slower then directed waves.

Observer

A device that transmits live feed of the area it can detect.

Holoprojector

An equipment that can project holographs.

Weapons

Plasma

Superheated plasma is one of the most destructive matter known to Numidars, granting complete penetration against organic targets and high damaging capability against armed targets.

Soldiers of the Imperium used plasma firing magnetic accelerators, plus one of the heaviest assault weapon: the plasma-thrower (spreading a wide field of plasma at enemies) during the first war; since then the technology was shared with the entire race.

The plasma based cutting device of Numidar workers can be used as a melee weapon.

Pulse

Magnetic accelerators firing conventional or special projectiles at high or supersonic speeds. The standard heavy weapon of Numidar soldiers is the pulse cannon, capable of firing devastating projectiles at high accuracy.

Detonators

Numidars use various types of detonator weapons, loaded with different payload for specific purpose. Detonators are thrown weapons, granting the capability to indirectly reach the enemy.

Raaculon-ray emitter

Raaculon atoms (a special combination of sub-atomic molecules) and the ray produced by splitting them instantly eliminates weak sub-molecular structures (such as DNA for example) and is not halted by any known material. The Raaculon-ray can instantly eliminate any organic target, may it be armored, hidden behind walls or fortified rooms.

Suits and armors

Civilian and other regular suits

The everyday suits Numidar people wear.

Protection suit

A special suit designed to protect the user against hazardous environments (rays and radiation, heat, cold, pressure, vacuum, basic physical effects and so on).

Space suit

A special suit designed for space walks and other zero-G operations.

Defense suit

A lite version armor without built in systems. As it is made of composite it is very light. This suit is the standard issue protection for Numidar security forces.

Armor (common version)

A robotized armor suit designed for military purpose. It has a built in life-support system, has its own artificial muscles and movement systems, sensors, communication and other digital systems.

Armor of the Imperium

A special version armor worn by the pride soldiers of the Imperium. It provides greater resistance and has better built-in systems.
